The local government of Paranaque city headed by Mayor Edwin L. Olivarez, has pledged 11 learning tablets to Fourth Estate Elementary School – Marcelo Green (FEES-MG) Grade 1 teachers as teaching aids in distance learning on January 26, 2021.

The learning tablets were personally handed to the Grade 1 Teachers by the School Property Custodian, Mr. Rogelio Verano. 

Before receiving the tablets, teachers were asked to sign an Affidavit of Undertaking, stating that they will take care of the gadget and that it will be returned to school at the end of this school year.

The school arranged a schedule for the distribution from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm. Teachers were also reminded to observe the safety protocols in claiming the tablets.  

The pandemic has a massive impact not only on students but as well as for the teachers. It affects their usual routine in teaching from face-to-face to distance learning. These gadgets will help them to survive and then adapt to an abrupt educational change.

Aside from that, it is easier for the teachers to facilitate learning and guide the parents or guardians on how to instruct their children in answering their Self Learning Modules (SLMs).
