Fourth Estate Elementary School- Marcelo Green (FEES-MG) staff, together with the Local Government of Parañaque City, headed by Mayor Edwin L. Olivarez, distributed 381 learning tablets to all Grade 1 pupils on November 20, 2020 and 38 On The Go (OTG) Flash Drives to selected Grade 1 pupils on February 22, 2021 as part of the efforts to ease online learning.

The parents, on behalf of their children, received the learning tablets and OTGs which were personally handed over by the School Property Custodian, Mr. Rogelio Verano. The grade 1 teachers and Non-Teaching Personnel (NTPs) assisted Mr. Verano in the said event.

Before receiving the tablets and OTGs, parents were asked to sign an Affidavit of Undertaking, stating that they will take care of the gadget and that it will be returned to the school in case their children will transfer to another school.

Prior to the distribution, the school arranged a schedule for the eleven sections from 9:00 am- 5:00 pm. Then the teachers informed their respective class sections about their schedule and the things they need to bring.

The parents were also reminded to observe the minimum health protocols in claiming the tablets.

This pandemic should not be a hindrance for the students to continue learning. As the Department of Education Secretary, Leonor Briones said, “Even if there are no face-to-face classes, education continues,”.

DepEd always strives to do its best so that there will be no learners left behind.
